Expectation - Candice Lesage -

2012 is definitely behind me. 2013 has nicely settled in it brought new things, new challenges but also new expectations.

I am the kind of girl who likes to do things: crafting, knitting, reading, watching tv-shows and films, browsing youtube/tumblr, taking pictures and, well, web design. Last year I also started learning the piano, for it was one of my first loves as a child. I was amazed by these melodies whispering sweet things to my ears.

Well, being that creative (I hope I’m not sounding too pretentious) is not totally great. I can’t concentrate. I’m always thinking about doing something else (for example, I was learning a piece on the piano but I was thinking about taking pictures in the forest). So I never quite finish a project.

This year, I’ve decided I’ll realize some of my personal projects, because working for others doesn’t give me enough time to do something for me. I want to create for my pleasure.

I have a whole lot of ideas waiting to become something real. My moleskine (received from Safia, thank you again dear you couldn’t have made a better choice) is almost full.

You’re certainly wondering what’s the point of this post? Well I don’t know. I wanted to share my thoughts with you, to make you understand that, yes, I don’t post that much but I think about it. I just don’t take the time.

2013 is going to be great, I’ll make it great.

  1. i am exactly the same. there is so much i want to do that i’m absolutely distracted by it all. then, i stress and just freeze. i get nothing done. i hope that doesn’t happen to you. also, i’ve learned that sometimes i just have to give up some of the things i want to do and stick to the main ones – the ones that really excite me.

  2. Je te souhaite une bonne année 2013 et qu’elle soit aussi bonne que tu le souhaites en te permettant de réaliser tes projets. J’ai hâte de voir ce qu’ils vont donner si tu les partages ici avec nous :)

  3. I agree with you on pretty much everything here, and I also agree with commenter Sharon. I’m also very creative, and set myself many creative goals, but most of the time I feel disappointed because I get distracted and do very little or nothing at all. I think what Sharon said about prioritizing is pretty much on point. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I really enjoy these type of posts.
