Being happy in Nantes

I’ve discovered yet an other city in France I had never been to. I went to Nantes at the end of September for one of my best friends’ birthday and I had a blast. The city is absolutely marvelous and so pedestrians friendly! I was actually shocked because living in Paris, you know.

On my arrival, we immediately went to visit the Anne de Bretagne’s castle and it is quite the beauty, isn’t ? We then walked for a while in the city, bought many things (oopsie,  did I really need those three new notebooks? The answer is obviously yes) and had an amazing pizza at a restaurant called Pinocchio! Yes, just like the children’s novel.

On the Sunday we went to Guérande, a medieval city near the coast, and then we went to the sea because, we had to. It was such a warm and beautiful day and I had the best time. I was laughing, care-free, enjoying every little moment and well, the people I was with were obviously a huge part of that great week-end. That and the chocolate I discovered there.

Here’s some pictures I took, I didn’t make a video this time, didn’t feel like it. Don’t worry, I will go back there for sure. I promise.
